Dennis Jones (seen right) has been drawing pictures for 23 years. He believes God has given him an artistic gift and has attempted for many years now to use it for Him. He recently finished a full text bible for Zondervan, and ten frame tray puzzles for a toy company in Wisconsin. You can also check out Dennis Jones' personal site.
After a couple of years of cranking out caricatures, Don took a position with the "World's Largest Fishing & Boating" company cranking out catalogs. It was there he discovered the ins and outs of designing and producing massive amounts of work. From here the career path led him to join up with the "World's Largest Pentecostal" denomination as an art director where he continues to design and produce projects through the miracle of the Macintosh. Completely addicted to Espresso Roast coffee, he has mastered in his artistic sensibility by continuously experimenting with digital photography, non-linear video editing, motion graphics, fine art, finishing drywall and ragtime piano playing. With his arsenal of design skills and energetic aptitude to try his hand at anything, Don has and continues to create a broad range of stimulating visual content.
Deciding to pursue a career in drawing funny pictures, Doug enrolled as a freshman at an engineering school majoring in electrical engineering. After failing a major chemistry exam his second semester, he decided there must be a better way to become an artist. He transferred to another college and changed his major to commercial art. Upon receiving his B.F.A. (that's Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree, he was hired by a large religious publishing house in Nashville, Tennessee, where he spent over 20 years in the art department drawing big noses on funny little people. In 1994 Doug launched a career into the wacky world of freelance illustration so he could draw big noses for anyone with a pocketful of cash - no questions asked. He is currently married to his wonderful wife, Cindy, and has two most excellent children, Erin and Kyle. Doug's hobbies include working on weekends, visiting bookstores, and drinking Frappuccinos at the local Starbucks. He is currently working on reading the Lord of the Rings for the third time. Donald Jones (seen
left) makes the pictures look good for our cards. Despite earning a B.S.
in Education, Don's passion for making a living in anything other than teaching
led him to pursue a career as a freelance artist. Since making the
decision, there's been no looking back.
Brother Doug, the senior member of the three brothers, is an only child. As a small boy
he amused himself for hours by copying "Popeye" and "Alley Oop"
from the funny papers. This explains why he now has several pet dinosaurs and is a spinach junky.
